Training Practice

glasses_and_penThis Practice has been accredited to train doctors intending to become general practitioners.

The practice needs to be regularly inspected for this purpose, and this involves inspection of the medical records.  Only doctors approved for this purpose will do this, and they will respect completely the confidentiality of the information.

Patient records may only be disclosed with written permission.  Patients may therefore be asked to sign a letter of authorisation to permit this.  No patient records will be included in the inspection visit without such authorisation.

Sometimes the doctor may wish to video record their consultations, and in this case once again your permission will always be requested beforehand.

As this Partnership is a Training Practice you may be asked to see a doctor who is taking part in a Vocational Training Programme.  We also have medical students who see patients, with a partner assessing the consultation.  Your co-operation will be both valuable and appreciated.
